These Terms govern your use of Motolines.com. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Motolines. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Motolines website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

Motolines is the merchant of record for purchases made on the Platform: you buy from Motolines, pay Motolines, and Motolines is responsible to you for your order.

2. Our Role

When you place an order, your contract of sale is with Motolines. Motolines may work with vetted suppliers and partners to source and fulfil products, but this does not affect our responsibility to you as the seller of record. We are responsible for:

  • Order processing and payment handling
  • Accurate product listings and pricing
  • Delivery of your order as confirmed at checkout
  • After-sales support and handling of returns per our Returns Policy
  • Compliance with applicable laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
  • You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Accounts may be suspended for misuse, fraud, or policy violations

4. Orders & Payments

  • Prices are displayed in Bahraini Dinars (BHD)
  • Prices include VAT where applicable
  • Payments are processed via approved third-party payment gateways
  • Motolines may hold payments temporarily for order verification or dispute resolution
  • Order confirmation is subject to product availability

5. Product Compatibility

While we strive to provide accurate compatibility information, it is your responsibility to verify that products are suitable for your vehicle. We recommend:

  • Checking the size and specification printed on your current part (for tyres, the sidewall marking)
  • Contacting our support team before purchase if you are unsure

6. Installation & Services

Motolines does not currently offer installation or workshop services. If such services are introduced, separate terms will apply and will be published before they go live.

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Warranty Policy.

  • Return eligibility depends on product condition and the timeframes in our Returns Policy
  • Refunds are processed through the original payment method
  • Certain products (e.g., fitted parts, custom orders) may not be returnable

8. Intellectual Property

  • All platform content, branding, and design belong to Motolines
  • Product images and manufacturer marks belong to their respective owners
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for illegal purposes
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Interfere with Platform security or functionality
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions
  • Circumvent our systems or policies

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motolines shall not be liable for:

  • Product defects or quality issues
  • Service delays or failures
  • Installation workmanship
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific transaction in question.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Motolines, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall first be addressed through our customer support. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation before pursuing legal action.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Bahrain.

15. Consumer Protection

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under Bahrain Consumer Protection Law or applicable GCC consumer protection regulations.
